For the second time in three years, the Golden State Warriors were raising a banner and receiving championship rings on NBA's opening night. But also for the second time in three years, they started off their regular season campaign with a loss to a championship contender within the Conference. Last year, it was at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs and this time it was James Harden and the Houston Rockets. However, unlike last year, this loss wasn't a blowout. This was a one-point loss with Kevin Durant's potentially game-winning jumper called off for being too late. The crowd at the Oracle Arena and the Warriors' players premature celebration was cut short after the referee called off the shot. Once that happened, Twitter didn't hold back. Warriors started it though by sharing a gif: Basket doesn't count.
