Indian basketball player Talwinderjit Singh has lashed out at the Basketball Federation of India for not providing him with sufficient monetary payments for representing the country. The 28-year-old added that despite representing India on more than 20 occasions and featuring among the top 10 players list in Asia on a regular basis, he wasn't given any money for his services.
Comparing his plight to the army jawans, the Ludhiana-born player said even the jawans get paid for protecting the border and added that he quit playing for India after being unable to bear the behaviour of the officials.
