Dwight Howard hasn't played a minute of basketball since November, although the former All-Star has been linked with teams such as the Dallas Mavericks.

The Wizards center is currently recovering from spinal surgery, however, it has been speculated that the Mavericks would be happy to take Howard on board as part of a bigger trade for Bradley Beal.

Despite this, any rumors regarding Howard should be the subject of scrutiny, as in recent years, organizations such as the Atlanta Hawks have been desperate to trade the 33-year-old away due to concerns over his attitude.

The Wizards have yet to provide an update on when Howard will return, and with the former Orlando man's contract expiring in the summer, Howard may have already played his last game in Washington.

Despite this, a trade this week remains incredibly remote, as playoff teams will not want the baggage that Howard brings.
