Otto Porter Jr. may be allowed to leave
With Trevor Ariza and Bradley Beal set to stay until the end of the season, it has opened the question as to which members of the roster that the Wizards would be willing to trade. Well, The Athletic is reporting that the Utah Jazz are interested in Otto Porter Jr., and Washington could look to move the 25-year-old before the deadline:
Depending on how the next week to two weeks shape up, the Wizards could look more aggressively toward moving Otto Porter. The Utah Jazz have been an interested suitor for Porter, league sources said. Beal has helped lead the Wizards to seven wins in their past 10 games, carrying a squad that lost All-Star John Wall to season-ending heel surgery before the New Year.
Porter Jr. has performed well for the Wizards so far this season, averaging 13.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, however, he has an expensive deal that still has two more years to run.
