Who is Aaron Nesmith’s girlfriend?

Aaron Nesmith has been in the NBA for three years now, but his relationship with his girlfriend started just before that. Here is a deeper look into the love life of the young guard.

Before making the jump to the league, Aaron Nesmith attended Vanderbilt for college. That is where he ended up meeting his girlfriend, Jordan Smith. She too was a student athlete there as a star on their track and field team.

During her time at Vanderbilt, Smith performed well as a sprinter. Her biggest accolade is setting a new school record as part of the relay team. Some of her other accolades include being second in school history as part of the 4X400, third all time in 300 meters and sixth all time in 400 meters.

While Nesmith went on to play in the NBA after college, Smith continues to pursue her education. Upon getting her bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt, she is now studying for her master's degree.

The couple began dating in 2020, but outside of pictures on social media, they keep their relationship very private.

Aaron Nesmith inks new deal with Indiana Pacers

Just ahead of the deadline, Aaron Nesmith managed to secure a new deal with the Indiana Pacers. The sharpshooting guard agreed to terms on a three-year extension with the team worth $33 million.

Nesmith spent the first two years of his career with the Boston Celtics, but was traded to the Pacers in the 2022 offseason for Malcolm Brogdon. In his first season with the team, the former lottery pick did well.

In 73 games for the Pacers last season, Nesmith averaged 10.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists. Along with having a career year, Nesmith continued to show potential of being a reliable shooter from beyond the arc. He connected on 36.6% of his three-point attempts while shooting over four a game.

With this deal, the Pacers have locked up another one of their bright young prospects. Playing alongside one of the league's top playmakers in Tyrese Haliburton, Nesmith should continue to thrive as a kick-out option from deep.

Nesmith didn't get a lot of opportunity with the Celtics to start his career, but that all changed when he got to Indiana. Upon getting the chance to play consistenly, he proved why he was worth selecting with the 14th pick in the draft. Nesmith made the most of the situation in front of him and it resulted in him landing a lucrative deal to remain with the Pacers moving forward.
