In a sport like basketball which is largely dominated by men, especially in India, it is difficult to see the sport being encouraged among girls by their own families. Thus it would be probably be a major surprise if you were to come across the Singh family, where not one, not two, but 4 girls playing basketball – and for the Indian national team at that. Even their 5th sister was the former captain of the team and is currently the coach of the team.
