Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 5 Reloaded pre-load details: Everything we know

Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 5 Reloaded is set to launch on September 4, 2025, at 9 am PT, and the pre-load option is currently available for PC players through Battle.net. This feature allows players to download and install the update in advance, ensuring immediate access to the new content once it goes live.

Pre-load will be available for PlayStation and Xbox users at least 24 hours before the update’s release. However, PC players using Steam do not have this option.

What is the pre-load size of Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 5 Reloaded on PC (Battle.net)?

As mentioned earlier, the Black Ops 6 Season 5 Reloaded pre-load is currently available only for PC players on Battle.net, with an approximate update size of 25 GB.

This time, however, the size will significantly vary depending on the platform. Since only the Battle.net pre-load has been released so far, it is not yet clear which platforms will have a larger download. According to the developers, the Season 5 Reloaded update will be bigger on certain platforms because content is being reorganized in preparation for the Black Ops 7 beta, launching on October 2, 2025.

The developers have also planned a few “Thank You” rewards for players who download the Season 5 Reloaded update between September 4 and October 1. Those who do so will receive the following items:

Five 1-Hour Double Player XP Tokens (5 hours total)
Five 1-Hour Double Weapon XP Tokens (5 hours total)
Five 1-Hour Double Battle Pass XP Tokens (5 hours total)
