
Mike Norvell is Florida State's head football coach as of August 2025. He has coached at Arizona State, Pittsburgh, Tulsa, and Central Arkansas in addition to his previous position as head coach at Memphis. At Arlington, Texas's Grace Preparatory Academy, Norvell played wide receiver. After walking on at Louisiana Tech in 2000, Norvell played wide receiver at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) from 2001 to 2005.
During his four seasons as head coach of Memphis, Norvell amassed a 38-15 record that included a trip to the New Year's Six Cotton Bowl and the 2019 American Athletic Conference title.
