Daniel Jackson is one of the quickest wide receivers in college football who is in his final year with the Minnesota Gophers. Jackson started playing high school football at Bishop Miege High School where he was the recipient of the 2019 Otis Taylor Award presented to the most outstanding high school wide receiver. As a senior, Jackson caught 74 passes for 1,511 yards and 27 touchdowns. Jackson was ranked a four-star prospect and was the No.2 recruit in the state of Kansas.
