
Kannaur Lokesh Rahul or KL Rahul is a professional wicketkeeper-batsman representing the Indian cricket team across all international formats. Born on April 18, 1992, he started playing cricket at the age of 10. He moved from Mangalore to Bengaluru at the age of 18 for further studies at Jain University.
KL Rahul made his First-Class debut in the 2010-11 season for Karnataka. He also played the 2010 Under-19 World Cup in 2010. In the IPL, he has represented several franchises like Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, and Lucknow Super Giants. He also captained the Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants franchise. He started his international career in test format against Australia on December 26, 2014. In 2016, he made his ODI and T20I debut as well.
