Celeste can be somewhat defensive, as if she’s caught sleeping, she’ll simply deny that it ever happened, instead stating that only her brother Blathers sleeps on the job. However, if you talk to the right villagers, they’ll admit she’s a worse sleeper than even Blathers.
Appearance of Celeste
Celeste is an owl that slightly resembles her brother Blathers. Having a predominantly red color palette, it’s only broken off with her yellow talons and beak. Sporting a plaid belly, she has a white face along with a pink bow on the back of her head.
How to encounter Celeste in New Horizons
Encountering Celeste is a simple enough affair, all it really comes down to is luck. Should you have a clear night, Celeste will visit from 7 PM to 4 AM. From there just talk to her and she will give you a random blueprint to construct, mostly consisting of star and space-themed furniture. She also gives you a magic wand that lets you change appearances without going to a dresser. Celeste will also always appear when there is a meteor shower.
Role of Celeste in New Leaf
In New Leaf, Celeste runs a museum with her brother Blathers. Located on the second floor, Celeste is in charge of the museum shop, and like her brother, you can catch her falling asleep in the daytime.

While you may not be able to invite Celeste over to your island, she will still be available to use as an amiibo card. When you go to the Photo Studio, simply use her amiibo and she’ll appear. Then you can set up photos to share.
