Plot
As Kyle Crane, players will explore the all-new sandbox of Castor Woods to defeat the Baron responsible for performing torturous experiments on the protagonist. It continues after The Following DLC for the first game and is set after the events of the predecessor game Dying Light 2: Stay Human.

Dying Light: The Beast is a first-person game with an emphasis on parkour and melee combat like previous games. The dynamic sandbox of Castor Woods offers a combination of a concrete and rural jungle to climb, leap, run, and jump across while evading and fighting zombies. Firearms also return from the original game, with players able to either take down enemies silently or guns blazing.
New driving mechanics add a newfound sense of exploration against this countryside, opening up opportunities for both travelers and combat. Kyle also features new Beast powers, allowing him to overcome dire odds with newfound strength rivaling that of the powerful mutant zombies like Volatiles. While the previous game had a branching story line with decisions to make, this installment has a linear narrative.
