Ratings are significant in FIFA, especially in the popular game mode Ultimate Team, because they determine how much a card costs. Players in FIFA Ultimate Team are represented by Player Items, which are special shields that display each player's unique in-game ratings and attributes.
In FUT, each player has an overall rating as well as six scores for key stats such as Pace, Shooting, Passing, Dribbling, Defending, and Physical.
