Every artifact set has its own pros and cons. Farming an artifact might not be easy due to the limited amount of resin that a player gets. Artifacts are important to maximize your character’s damage output and spending way too much time on a domain can be exhausting.
Pros
- High Scaling - Without reactions, this artifact set provides defensively as well as offensively, with a whopping 35% damage bonus against opponents affected by pyro alongside a decent pyro resistance.
Cons
- Incompatibility - While this artifact set is a by-product of the Crimson Witch of Flames artifact, it is mostly unusable for characters which require crimson witch because of how highly dependent crimson witch users are on elemental reactions.
- EM wastage - Elemental Mastery is an incredibly valuable stat in genshin. However, by using this set, the player completely eliminates elemental reactions from the set, making it a dead stat.
- Limited Teams - Due to the requirement of constant pyro applications, the amount of team combinations that can be used is significantly lowered.

This flaming flower was once a brooch worn by the Lavawalker.
In the Lavawalker's final days, he said to his people:

You shall see the glowing embers of this flower shining through the dark smoke."
The people followed the flower's flickering light to the edge of the Mare Jivari.
There they found the blooming flowers — but the Lavawalker was nowhere to be seen.
Lavawalker's Salvation

Donning this feather, the Lavawalker retreated from the outside world.
Alone he came and alone he went, leaving no trace behind.
Since then, people often hear cries coming from the Mare Jivari.
No one knows if they are the song of the bird or the sighs of the Lavawalker.
Lavawalker's Torment

Sadly, though the Lavawalker did not fear the scorching flames of the Mare Jivari, he could not quench the torturing flames of time.
The anguish of being left alone without the disciples and family he held so dear burned away at his soul more than any flames could ever scorch his flesh.
Lavawalker's Epiphany

But while fine wine evaporates in high heat, the wisdom of the sage could withstand a trial by fire.
To the Lavawalker, fine wine was merely a catalyst in the process of producing ingenuity.
Aided by alcohol, even the slightest spark can combust into a brilliant idea.
The goblet was a silent witness to the forging of wisdom amidst the flames.
The moment before the Lavawalker set off on his final journey was when the goblet was filled with the most pride.
Lavawalker's Wisdom

- Lavawalker is mentioned only in the lore of this set. Mare Jivari, however, is also mentioned in Venti’s Story Quest.
- This artifact domain is almost identical to the Thundersoother Domain, only having the electro replaced with pyro.
Conclusion
Lavawalker is one of the worst, easily replaceable artifact sets in the game which has very limited utility. It has only one non-gimmicky utility, making it passable at best. These artifacts can also be a good off-piece if you get the right stats on them.
