How much does Scarra earn?

Scarra makes money through multiple avenues and he even used to compete in eSports tournaments for League of Legends in the past, but he has since retired from the scene. Although he does partake in tournaments for games here and there, they are not in a professional capacity and are an irregular source of income for the most part. He is a co-founder of OfflineTV and sells brand merch on their site, and also handles his own content creation channels (Twitch and YouTube).

From his Twitch and YouTube channels, Scarra earns anywhere between $70k to $100k a year at the very minimum, excluding donations and higher-tiered subscribers on Twitch. Along with all the sponsorship deals he receives throughout the year, the number would easily hit $150k to $200k a year.

Scarra’s other ventures

Scarra was a player of League of Legends from the year it launched officially (2019). In 2010, he began his first foray into the eSports realm by participating in the 2010 Newegg Winter Winfest tournament along with 4 others and placed 3rd.

He eventually joined Team Dignitas, taking part in several competitions and won 1st place in a season of the IGN Pro League for League of Legends, along with his team (consisting of Imaqtpie, Jatt, L0cust, LoCicero, and himself). They won $10k in total which was split amongst himself and his teammates. He continued to compete in the sphere, in and out of Dignitas, until his eventual retirement.

Scarra eventually created Offline TV, a content creator house and mini-network, with ex-manager Chris Chan.

Scarra’s Twitch career

Scarra created his Twitch channel in 2011, on the 7th of May. He mainly only streamed League of Legends for years, evidenced by the 5.1k hours he’s racked up on his Twitch account. He did, however, stream Teamfight Tactics for almost that long - with over 2.2k hours on the game. At one point, he was one of the most popular Teamfight Tactics streamers on the platform. Lately, he has been frequently playing Final Fantasy XIV Online.

Scarra currently has 1.4 million followers on his Twitch account and averages around 2k to 5k viewers per stream.

Scarra’s YouTube career

Scarra’s YouTube channel was opened a few years after his Twitch account, in 2014 on the 24th of October. Similar to his Twitch channel, most of Scarra’s old videos revolved around League of Legends content.

He currently holds 751k subscribers on the channel, with 1.1k videos uploaded. He holds 174 million views split across all of his videos

Earnings from career

Scarra’s earnings from his career outside of content creating are not exactly known. From his participation in eSports and casual gaming tournaments, he has earned at least $60k in prize money.

Scarra sells merchandise through the official OfflineTV website, which features merch under the collective name. Around the time he first started, he mentioned that all the members push their merchandise sales as that used to be their main source of income.

Earnings as a Youtuber

Scarra’s YouTube channel is mainly used as a place to upload highlights and clip compilations of his Twitch VODs, so it does not generate as much income as his Twitch channel does in comparison. Currently, it’s estimated he makes around $400 to $600 a month, and around $5k to $7k on a yearly basis.

Earnings as a Twitch Streamer

Assuming all of his Twitch subscribers are paying the lowest tier, Scarra would supposedly be making $5.5k to $7.7k a month from the platform, and $66k to $92.4k on a yearly basis. Adding his higher-paying subscribers and all the donations he receives every stream, the number would be much higher in actuality.

Other Sponsorship deals

Names that have sponsored Scarra in the past are Worlds Hunt, Burger King, Intel, Acer, Runeterra, and others.

Expenditure

Scarra’s expenses aren’t exactly known. Earlier this year, Scarra unveiled a fully animated Vtuber mode that he had commissioned and the prices for rigging and illustrating a Vtuber model can easily hit more than $5k.

When opening OTV, it’s important to consider Scarra would’ve put his own money into getting everything set up, along with the rest of the original OTV members. In an interview in 2018, Scarra stated that OTV was still a “money sink” for him, as he was still attempting to turn a profit from the venture.

In the News

Scarra made news when he and his fellow Team Dignitas members placed 1st in the IGN Pro League Season 3: Origins, for League of Legends. He also came 1st in several other tournaments as well.

In 2017, Scarra formed OfflineTV along with his ex-manager Chris Chan. The content network has grown to host other big names such as Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang, and Lily “LilyPichu” Ki.
