Horizon Forbidden West is one of Sony's most recent blockbusters, launching in early 2022 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. In the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, the game resumed Aloy's travels in a post-apocalyptic version of the United States following a catastrophic extinction triggered by a rogue robot swarm.

Horizon Zero Dawn's precursor is Horizon Forbidden West. Forbidden West is an open-world action/adventure game created by Sony-owned Guerilla Games, like its predecessor. You play as Aloy, a warrior who fights against animalistic machines and astute humans with a bow and a staff. Horizon takes place after a tragedy has killed away most of humanity. Hence, the setting is post-apocalyptic. Nonetheless, enough time has elapsed for plant and animal life to resurface.
Will Horizon Forbidden West be on PC?
A Horizon Forbidden West PC release is not yet confirmed. According to a leaked Sony document published on DSO, the port of Horizon Forbidden West may already be in the works. The document supposedly leaked from GeForce Now, Nvidia's video game streaming service, and features a list of games coming to the service, implying that these titles would be PC versions. Horizon Forbidden West is yet to be announced for PC, although Horizon Zero Dawn took many years to become accessible on the platform.

With the popularity of Horizon Zero Dawn on Steam and the Epic Games Store, fans should not be surprised if a PC version of Horizon Forbidden West is planned.
