After a nerve wrecking and photo finish to the 2021-22 season, Manchester City has been crowned as the champions of 2021-22 Premier League season. This season's title victory has increased City's overall Premier League title tally to six. 20 teams play in The Premier League every year and only 7 teams have won 1 or more Premier League titles. The champions include Arsenal(3), Chelsea(5), Manchester United(13), Manchester City(6), Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City. Manchester United have won the Premier League more than anyone else, having finished first 13 times. Manchester City, who won the Premier League in 2017-18 hold the record number of points in a single season with 100 points. Since being formed in 1992, a total of 49 clubs have competed in the Premier League.

The 53-year-old has already achieved legendary status in Merseyside and is hailed as one of the greatest managers in the modern era.
