At the Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club, he was chosen to compete in the 2015 Walker Cup, but he withdrew two weeks before the match.

Later in the year, he finished 52nd in the Order of Merit and tied for fifth place at the Sky Sports British Masters.

Horsfield's first victory on the European Tour came at the Hero Open in early August 2020, when he defeated Thomas Detry by one stroke. Two weeks later, Horsfield won the Celtic Classic in Wales, his second European Tour tournament, by two strokes over Detry, who placed second once more.

Horsfield won his third European Tour title in May 2022 at the Soudal Open in Belgium. He participated in the first LIV Golf event at the Centurion Club in London, finishing fifth and earning $975,000.
