Odell Beckham Jr. was recently removed from a flight that was headed to Los Angeles. He reportedly slipped in and out of consciousness and was escorted off by a concerned flight attendant. Despite the drama, the Dallas Cowboys aren't worried about their potential signee.

Jerry Jones has been adamant at every turn that he wants to bring in the Super Bowl winning wide receiver. That has apparently not changed, even after the flight controversy.

Here's what Jones said, according to NFL reporter Jon Machota:

"Very genuine. Very competitive. Feels confident. Feels good about himself. We think he can fit in really good with us."

The owner didn't mention any concerns following the flight incident. Beckham and his team have insisted that there was no issue and that the flight attendant was simply overzealous.

Odell Beckham Jr. has gone unsigned this year as he was recovering from an ACL tear sustained in last year's Super Bowl. As he nears an official return, teams have been anxious to bring him and hopefully put their roster over the top.

He joined the Los Angeles Rams late last season and was able to play a key role in their Super Bowl run and victory before going down. Contenders are hopeful the same will play out in this campaign.

Odell Beckham Jr. landing spots: Wideout lists 5 teams he could join next

While the Cowboys are reportedly the odds-on favorites, plenty of teams could still sign Odell Beckham Jr..

In fact, according to a report from NFL insider Josina Anderson, there are five teams who have a chance at signing the receiver. He has listed them as either having a visit lined up or contact between the two parties.

These teams include:

  • Buffalo Bills
  • Cowboys
  • New York Giants
  • Baltimore Ravens
  • Kansas City Chiefs

All of these teams have cemented themselves as genuine contenders and most of them, perhaps with the exception of the Bills, could use help at wide receiver. Either way, there can never be too much talent.

Even though he's ready to sign, Beckham likely won't contribute for another few weeks as he ramps up physically and learns the playbook. In the meantime, it'd be best for his next team to sign him as soon as they can.
