Jerry Jones knows as well as anyone that desegregation occurred in the middle of the 1900s. While most agree that it was long ago, others insist that some actions stand the test of time.

When a photo surfaced of the Dallas Cowboys owner with a group resisting desegregation in the middle of the century, fans were sent into an uproar.

However, one athlete offered her perspective and called for those complaining about the owner to take steps to boycott his team.

Track star Sha'Carri Richardson wrote in response to an Instagram post via Total Pro Sports:

"There's a lot of talk about this but If ya'll still gonna support, what's the point of complaining?"

Richardson's words were in response to an article released by The Washington Post that showed an alleged copy of the photo with the future owner circled. Some fans also saw the photo as a warning shot. If an old photo from 1957, an era when pictures were far from commonplace, could surface 65 years later to inflict damage, what could today's camera-saturated society reveal 65 years from now?

Since Week 7, the Dallas Cowboys have been a different team. After a slow offensive start through the first six weeks of the season, the team found a new gear both offensively and defensively. Since Week 7, they have either scored 28 points or won in every game they've played.

Since Week 7, the team has scored 40 points twice and knocked off the New York Giants, who they had been chasing all season long. As it stands, they have jumped into the second spot in the division battle. The Eagles lead the division with a 10-1 record, while the Cowboys currently sit at 8-3.

Fans would agree that all signs point towards the Christmas Eve showdown between the Eagles and Cowboys as Jerry Jones' team's best chance at catching the division leaders. Of course, on top of that, they will need Philadelphia to stumble elsewhere along the way.
