Dak Prescott attended the annual Children's Cancer Fund Gala this past weekend in Dallas. He wasn't the only Dallas Cowboys quarterback to attend the event. Three-time Super Bowl champion Troy Aikman shared a photo on Instagram documenting the night.

In the photo he posted, Aikman stood alongside Prescott as well as Tony Romo, who spent 14 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.

"The Quarterbacks, " Aikman captioned the post.

Troy Aikman's post has nearly 35,000 likes and various comments, one being from another notable NFL quarterback. Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady took time to comment on the photo of the three quarterbacks, sharing how much he loved the photo.

Prescott and Aikman, who were co-chairs of the gala, participated in the event's annual fashion show as well. The Children's Cancer Fund Gala raised about $2.6 million, surpassing their initial goal of $2 million. The funds from the gala will support research to help the fight against pediatric cancer as well as care for current patients.

Dak Prescott addressed contract talks ahead of the Gala

Just before Friday's night event began, Dak Prescott spoke to members of the media at a press conference. Of course, the topic of a possible contract extension with the Dallas Cowboys was something that was discussed.

Prescott went on to tell reporters that he isn't trying to become the highest-paid quarterback in the National Football League. The quarterback is also aware that other players on his team need to get paid as well.

“I’m not trying to be the highest paid … necessarily. So I’ll wait til the negotiations begin. I obviously want to put this team in the best situation,” said Dak Prescott.

The 30-year-old has made it clear that he wants to stay with the Dallas Cowboys however, he also told reporters that he will just wait and see what happens after the 2024 NFL season.

"I'm not going to say I fear being here or not. I don't fear either situation, to be candid with you... Right now it's with the Dallas Cowboys. It's where I want to be and that's where I am and that's the focus. And after this season we'll see where we're at and if the future holds that ... and then if not, we'll go from there."

Along with Prescott, the Dallas Cowboys also have wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and linebacker/defensive end Micah Parsons, who could receive lucrative contract extensions.
