Jalen Hurts is picking up fans all over and King LeBron James is just the latest to gush over him. After the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New York Giants 38-7 to move into the NFC Championship game, King James offered a full-throated defense of the Philadelphia quarterback.

One of the criticisms leveled at Jalen Hurts has been that he has been playing for a dominant team. That assumption states that the quarterback is just another cog in a well-oiled machine. That, however, ignores the fact that when Jalen Hurts started for the Eagles, they have only lost once this season. Their other couple of losses came when he was injured and did not start. The rushing threat that he brings to the game is immense.

It was evident yet again in the Divisional Round win against the Giants. He threw for two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also led drives that led to a couple of rushing touchdowns and rushed for a touchdown of his own.

LeBron James saw the same evidence and took to Twitter to slam all those critics who have tried to say the Eagles starting quarterback is not all that he is made out to be. He called out the "haters" and ended his tweet with a clown emoji to convey exactly how he felt about the whole affair.

Will LeBron James support Jalen Hurts in the next round?

The Philadelphia Eagles moved into the NFC Championship game with LeBron James' blessings for Jalen Hurts ringing in their ears. But will the King still support them next weekend?

LeBron James grew up an NFL fan and the team he supported was always the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys will have a chance tomorrow to defeat the San Francisco 49ers on the road and make their way into the NFC Championship game to face their divisional rivals.

He has, of course, said that he has stopped supporting the Cowboys and supports the Cleveland Browns now. This stemmed from their initial decision not to let their players kneel during the National Anthem as a form of protest against police brutality targeted at people of color. Even this year, when it emerged that Jerry Jones was seen at a segregationist event, James was none too enamored with his former NFL flame.

So it remains to be seen if he will watch the NFC Championship game and discover his lost love for the Cowboys. Instead, it might be that Jalen Hurts has won him over to the extent that he might be rooting for the Eagles.
