The Las Vegas Raiders lost to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday after a turbulent week for Indianapolis. The team fired their head coach and replaced him with someone from the media who had never coached in the NFL before. Most expected the Colts to be in complete disarray and for the Raiders to come out with a resounding victory.

Instead, the team came up short, igniting fans and pundits into a frenzy. One journalist took to Twitter to voice their frustration. Writer Jason Whitlock claimed that Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels committed a "fireable offense." Here's how he put it over the course of two tweets. First, he tweeted this:

"Fireable offense losing to Jeff Saturday and the tanking Colts? #JoshMcDaniels"

Later that day, he used a more hostile tone:

"You can't lose at home to a high school coach for a tanking team. Josh McDaniels is a joke."

Las Vegas fans had high expectations coming into the season after the team managed to make the playoffs last season without a permanent head coach. However, under Josh McDaniels, the team immediately came out flat. After their first four games, the team was 1-3.

Since then, it hasn't gotten much better, including suffering a 24-0 shutout put on by the New Orleans Saints in Week 8. In Week 9, the team lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Then, most recently, the team lost against the Colts. Most would have a hard time agreeing as to which loss stings the most.

Las Vegas is 2-7 and in last place in the AFC West. The Chiefs lead the division at 7-2, with the Chargers behind them at 5-4 and the Broncos in third at 3-6. Will McDaniels find a way to jumpstart his team? Over the next eight weeks, the outfit will play four teams under .500.

The first of those teams will be waiting in Denver as the two teams will square off to avoid last place in the division. Will the Broncos slip below Las Vegas or will Josh McDaniels solidify himself further in the cellar?
