Eli Manning and his later ego Chad Powers, didn't win an award for the Manningcast, but his brother Peyton did.

Former NFL quarterback Eli Manning was snubbed on Monday night as his older brother Peyton received accolades for the "Manningcast". The 2023 Sports Emmy Awards were handed out and Peyton won the award for 'Outstanding Personality/Event Analyst'. As one can imagine this caught NFL fans off guard.

Considering that Peyton won the award for his work on the "Manningcast" that he co-hosts with his younger brother Eli, how could he be the sole winner? This left NFL fans on Twitter irate as they questioned why Eli didn't win as well.

One NFL fan went as far as to say that Chad Powers, Eli's alter ego from "Eli's Places" deserved better than this. Eli, himself also commented on Peyton's win on Twitter. Eli asked Peyton on how he won an Emmy solely on commenting about coach's timeout decisions. A joke and nod to something that happens quite frequently on the show.

Others went on to say that in their opinion, Eli is the better commentator and was more entertaining on the show than Peyton is. The "Monday Night Football" broadcast also won a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Live Series. Showing that fans enjoy with broadcasts of the Monday night broadcast.

When will Eli Manning be inducted into the Hall of Fame?

Eli Manning played his collegiate career at Ole Miss from 2000 until 2003. When it came time to prepare for the NFL Draft, Eli made it clear that he didn't want to play for the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers had the first overall pick in 2004 and did choose to draft him after all.

But, San Diego made a trade with the New York Giants who then drafted quarterback Phillip Rivers with the fourth pick. The two teams swapped quarterbacks along with additional draft picks.

Eli played 16 seasons in the NFL, all for the Giants, defeating the New England Patriots and Tom Brady twice to hoist two Lombardi Trophies. He never missed a game due to injury, which is a tough accomplishment in the NFL.

After the 2019 NFL season, Eli announced his retirement from the NFL on January 22, 2020. Likely a first round ballot inductee, Eli is eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2025. HIs number 10 jersey has since been retired by the Giants.
