Quarterback Stetson Bennett and the Georgia Bulldogs won their second conservative national championship earlier this year. It seems things were looking up for the Heisman Trophy finalist until his arrest for public intoxication.

Bennett was arrested in Dallas in the early hours of Sunday morning. Police officers responded to calls about a male knocking on doors and stumbling upon Bennett.

Many NFL fans were left with questions about the Georgia quarterback's future, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts. Some noted how this will impact his draft stock and that he knows better as he's 25 years old.

Ultimately, officers decided that Stetson Bennett was intoxicated and was transported to a city detention center after being taken into custody. However, the Georgia star wasn't named as the individual who was knocking on the doors.

Bennett threw for 4,127 yards, 27 touchdowns, and seven interceptions in the most recent college football season.

In all, he had 8,428 yards, 66 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions in his time with Georgia. Bennett ranks fourth all-time in passing yards and fifth in touchdowns in the program's history.

Given his recent arrest, the question is will this impact his NFL Draft stock?

According to ESPN's NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper, Bennett is a projected third-round selection. However, his public intoxication arrest may have impacted his draft stock.

Nonetheless, there's plenty of time left between now and the NFL Draft, which means the quarterback will still have the opportunity to show off his skillset at the NFL combine and his pro day at Georgia.

Stetson Bennett will be looking to become the second Georgia signal-caller drafted within the first three rounds of the NFL Draft in 15 years. Current Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford went number one overall to the Detroit Lions in the 2009 NFL Draft.

Let's see if Bennett will remain one of the top quarterbacks in this year's NFL Draft.
