As far as die-hard New York Giants fans go, Pete Davidson is likely to be number one. The 29-year-old comedian was recently on Eli Manning's YouTube show, The Eli Manning Show.

During the short episode, Davidson gave the former quarterback a tour of his apartment that he shares with his friend. Upon initial inspection, the apartment seemed normal, until the pair went to Davidson's room. It was littered with Giants memorabilia and, more importantly, memorabilia of his favorite player.

The pair sat down on the couch to play the Madden video game and Davidson detailed how, in his mind, Manning saved the franchise and the city of New York.

Davidson said:

“I remember when you guys played the Pats that year they went undefeated. You almost beat them at home. Then I remember the announcer lady going, 'The next time these people could possibly meet is in the Super Bowl.' I mean, my buddies were like, 'Nah,' and then it happened. You like saved New York.”

The glint in Davidson's eye as the pair played Madden and talked football was similar to a young child meeting their hero.

After the duo spent some quality time together playing video games, it was then time to throw the football around for real. While the pair did so inside Davidson's apartment, Eli did not hold back.

While throwing with some velocity, the 29-year-old comedian was still able to catch some passes from his sporting hero.

There was clearly some nostalgia from Davidson as he got to spend time with the former Giants star. The pair even shared a slice of pizza together on the patio of his apartment.

But it got better for Davidson as his sporting hero gave him a personalized New York Giants jersey with his name and the number one on the back of it.

While the comedian has seen his fair share of celebrities, it's uncertain if they will ever measure up to the Giants legend.
