For Eagles fans, Super Bowl LVII was as dreadful an experience as one could have. Not many fans were siding with the injured Patrick Mahomes but at the end of the day, Andy Reid's team won. However, those who wanted to see the Eagles win or at least watch a thrilling contest were greeted with an anticlimactic ending.

Taking to Twitter, Warzone streamer FaZe Nickmercs slammed the officiating of the game as a whole. Here's how he put it:

"These dumba** referees have way too much control over the game. Hate it. Nonetheless, congrats to the Chiefs & their fans. They don’t mess around down there in [Kansas City, Missouri]"

The Chiefs marched down the field in the final game behind the legs of Patrick Mahomes, who miraculously recovered from what appeared to be a severe aggravation of his high ankle sprain just before halftime.

Then, needing just one first down to essentially end it, Mahomes missed his receiver in the endzone, leading to what would have been a game-winning opportunity for the Eagles. Instead, there was a flag for a hold that most agreed was too ticky-tack to decide a Super Bowl on.

With Super Bowl LVII in the rearview mirror, unhappy fans are ready to turn the page as quickly as possible. According to the stadium's website, Super Bowl LVIII will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 11, 2024.

It will be the third stadium in a row, located in the southwest of the country, to host the final game of the season. At the end of the 2022 season, the big game was played at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

This year, the big game was played just a few hours away in Glendale, Arizona. The next championship game between the last remaining AFC and NFC teams will be played in Sin City.
