Tom Brady and Julian Edelman share a special bond. While with the New England Patriots, the duo was central to the team's success. After the 45-year-old left for Tampa Bay, Edelman retired, but the two are still in contact.

The former Patriots receiver was active on Twitter when he commented on the "80ForBrady" trailer, which is a movie that centers around four women making their way to a Super Bowl to watch the quarterback in action.

Edelman commented and wrote that "80For Brady" will be the title of the quarterback's documentary when he finally retires. The Buccaneers quarterback replied, saying that he and Edelman will be going for their seventh shuffleboard title by the time he is 80 years old.

"Nah, you and I will be defending our 7th straight Florida Senior Shuffleboard title by then 😂"

By the sound of it, the Buccaneers quarterback will be long retired by the time he turns 80. But we can see where Edelman is coming from as the seven-time Super Bowl champ is still going. Currently in his 23rd NFL season, the quarterback's longevity is something to be admired, even if it has reportedly cost him his marriage to Gisele Bundchen.

Given how competitive the quarterback is, it’s easy to see that transferring over to shuffleboard. If he can win seven Super Bowl titles, then seven shuffleboard titles are well within his grasp.

After losing three straight games to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers and the Baltimore Ravens, which left them languishing at 3-5, the Buccaneers have rattled off back-to-back victories to move to .500 on the season.

Many thought Tampa Bay's season was over, but with two wins, they are now back in the division lead and in the playoff hunt. Tampa Bay will face the Cleveland Browns and Brady's Kryptonite in New Orleans before a tough game against the San Francisco 49ers. Those three games will likely decide the Buccaneers' season.

With the 45-year-old's off-field issues appearing to be resolved following his divorce, the Buccaneers have won two games. Coincidence? Possibly.

With No.12 still on the field, the Buccaneers are going to be tough to deal with. Despite their poor form so far in 2022, they will still scare the majority of teams.

Even if they miss the postseason, the 45-year-old can always link up with Edelman to play some shuffleboard.
