Although there isn't exact information about what the two are texting about, it has sparked a reaction from NFL fans and Floridians alike.

Fans shared their feelings about the alleged friendship on Twitter, with some saying that they were disappointed that TB12 would once again support someone with controversial views.

Some joked that Tom Brady was 'cheating' on Trump with DeSantis. Others, of course, brought the marital problems of Brady into the picture.

Tom Brady says that he put 'retirement' in the past

Ad

Tom Brady announced his retirement earlier this year and then walked back on that declaration just 40 days later.

On the weekly episode of his Let's Go podcast, the 45-year-old quarterback told co-host Jim Gray that he is not going to retire midseason and leave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers without a quarterback.

He reminded everyone that he declared last week his intentions to not quit on his team now. Tom Brady then said that there was a retirement in the past but that he has completely moved on from that.

The legendary quarterback went on to say that he made the commitment to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March when he came out of retirement. He added that he is not a quitter and no matter how bad things get, he won't give up.

Indeed, things are pretty bad for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at this point. Now with a 3-4 record and preparing for the Baltimore Ravens in a short week, this may get worse before it gets better.

It's not just the offense that has been causing the Bucs' woes. The defense which was seen as one of the best in the National Football League is now struggling to stop the pass and rush.

If the Bucs are going to turn things around, it has to be now before the NFC South gets away. Tampa Bay is currently tied for the division lead with the Atlanta Falcons.
