The NFL is quickly approaching its November 1 trade deadline, and contenders, re-builders, and kingmakers have reached some blockbuster deals. We have seen former Pro Bowlers switch teams, and many other top-notch names have been high up the list of trade projections.

Fans have been keeping track, so today, we bring you three moves that should happen before the 2022 NFL trade deadline.

Three moves that we expect will happen before the NFL deadline

1. Chase Claypool goes from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers probably didn't project their first season without main wide receivers Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling would go this way. If they did, they would have paid up. Instead, this season has seen the league MVP throw touchdown passes to an ever-revolving door of wide receivers, none of which give Packers fans a beckon of hope for the playoffs. Understandably, the Green Bay front office did not read the room, but all hope was not lost.

That's because a certain Chase Claypool looks like he would be on his way out of the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team that seems to have moved on from the former hotshot in the 2022 NFL season.

Currently, Claypool looks like he is the third or fourth receiver in Pittsburgh, behind names like Diontae Johnson, George Pickens, and Calvin Austin III. That says a lot about the lack of trust in Pittsburgh for the former 2020 draft standout. Moreso, Claypool wouldn't mind catching touchdown passes from Aaron Rodgers rather than Mitch Trubisky and Kenny Pickett.

2. Clelin Ferrell goes from the Las Vegas Raiders to the Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions are not good at defense, and NFL teams playing against them are routinely beating them to a pulp, no thanks to their nonexistent pass rushing, a problem position for the longest time.

To make matters worse, there simply aren't that many top-notch pass rushers that can turn the fortunes of a side as tipsy-turvy as Detroit. However, Clelin Ferrell is one of those players, and the current Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher is finding it difficult to break into the team.

There's just something wrong about the Clelin Ferrell, and Las Vegas Raiders fit, as it is crystal clear that the Raiders have moved on from the former fourth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Ferrell would be a solid fit on the Lions, as for once, he could be the number one guy at his position in an NFL franchise.

3. William Jackson III goes from the Washington Commanders to the Miami Dolphins

William Jackson III has had it up to here with the ever-controversial Washington Commanders team, and he officially requested a trade not too long ago. Among the top-notch landing spots for the cornerback, no landing spot looks as tantalizing as the Miami Dolphins.

The Dolphins are killing it this season, as they are one of the more complete teams in the league at the moment. They can run the ball, Tua Tagovailoa is tossing the rock to Tyreek Hill, and the defense is holding other teams to season-low totals. So where would William Jackson III come in, you might ask? Well, Byron Jones, cornerback, is still hurt following surgery to his Achilles in the off-season, so William Jackson might work. Fingers crossed, the Commanders and Dolphins brass reach a trade that would satisfy both franchises.

Blockbuster trade moves so far

In the early hours of Friday, October 21, 2022, Christian McCaffrey moved from the rebuilding Carolina Panthers to the Super Bowl-contending San Francisco 49ers. Of course, this trade involved the San Francisco 49ers sending a boatload of picks to get their man, and they sure did.

This is a trade capable of altering the NFL playoff and probably even the Super Bowl picture for the season, and we will be watching closely to see how the aftermath of the trade pans out.
