Kyle Busch posts DNF at Dover for 3rd time in 4 tries
Kyle Busch's car spurted oil and driveshaft pieces forcing him to pull out of the race with 124 laps to go.
Kyle Busch will not be adding his fourth win of the season Sunday.
The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series leader in wins (3) and playoff points (17) posted a DNF Sunday as his car spurted oil and driveshaft pieces with 124 laps to go.
Busch told FS1 after the incident the team tried to get the car back to racing condition and he tried to keep it on the track as long as he could, but it just wasn't working out for his Toyota Sunday.
"It was a Top 3 car," Busch told FS1 after he had to pull out of the race. "I felt like, barring some different clean air circumstances and different restart lines and stuff I felt like I could get up there and race with the (No.) 4 or the (No.) 2, but as bad as that vibration kept getting throughout the race there it was just too hard to handle."

This is Busch's first DNF since the Talladega race in the fall in 2017. However, he has posted three DNF's in his last four starts at Dover International Speedway.
