Pyeongchang (South Korea), Feb 10 (AFP) North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's sister will watch the unified Korean ice hockey team play their first Olympic match Saturday, the South Korean presidency said.

Kim Yo Jong, a powerful figure in the North, is the first member of the ruling Kim dynasty to visit the South since the 1950-53 Korean war.

"Kim Yo Jong, 1st vice director of the Central Committee of the WPK (North Korean Workers Party), will watch the match of the unified women's ice hockey team," said South Korean President Moon Jae-in's office in a text message.

The sister of North Korean ruler Kim Jong Un attended the Pyeongchang Olympic Games opening ceremony yesterday.

Dressed in a black fur-collared coat, Kim Yo Jong was later seen cheering for the team in the stands as they opened the match against Switzerland.

Along with her were North Korea's ceremonial head of state Kim Yong Nam, South Korean President Moon and IOC President Thomas Bach
