Chad Gable’s Age

Chad Gable is 37 years old. He was born in Saint Michael, Minnesota on March 8, 1986. Before his journey as a WWE superstar began, he was a former amateur wrestler. He competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics by defeating Jordan Holm in the final of the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials. Unfortunately, Gable was eliminated from the 2012 Summer Olympics by Pablo Shorey of Cuba.

Chad Gable’s WWE Career

Chad Gable joined the WWE in 2013 and spent a few months in the performance center. In 2014, Gable was put on the NXT roster, he made his in-ring debut in a match against Troy McClain at an NXT house show. He made his first televised appearance on the January 8, 2015 episode of NXT when he faced Tyler Breeze. In 2015, Gable was put in a storyline with Jason Jordan, where he formed a team with him, and they called themselves the American Alpha. In the WWE draft of 2016, Gable and Jason were Smackdown, and they won the Smackdown Tag Team Championship by defeating Randy Orton and the late Luke Harper of The Wyatt Family, The Usos, and the team of Heath Slater and Rhyno in a four corners elimination match. They lost their Championship to the Usos on the March 21 episode of SmackDown.

For most of his career, Gable was always in the tag team division, his solo run in the WWE started when he was put in a storyline with Baron Corbin. Baron Corbin defeated Chad Gable in the finals of the King of the Ring Tournament, and the storyline between Gable and Corbin continued. The entire storyline was based on Corbin making fun of Gable's size and height, which led to Gable's in-ring name change to Shorty G. They faced each other in the final match of their rivalry at 2019 Hell in a Cell, where Shorty G defeated King Corbin.

In 2020, Shorty G's name was changed back to his original name Chad Gable. As time went by, Gable solidified himself as one of the best wrestlers in the WWE. On the 5th Sep 2023 episode of Monday Night RAW, Gable faced the reigning Intercontinental Champion Gunther, the following match received a standing ovation from the Crowd. Cody Rhodes in an interview with Dale Earnhardr Jr.'s Dirt Mo Media revealed that after Gable faced Gunther, Gable received a Standing Ovation from everyone backstage.
