Rami Sebei, popularly known by his WWE in-ring name Sami Zayn is a Canadian Professional Wrestler. He is currently signed with WWE and wrestles for the Raw brand. He is currently one-half of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, holding both Raw and SmackDown TagTeam Championships with Kevin Owens. He is currently at the peak of his career, with an enormous fan following all around the world. Before joining WWE, Sami Zayn used to wrestle under the ring name El Generico, which is a mexican luchador gimmick and he used to wrestle with a mask. Sami signed with WWE in 2013 under the developmental brand NXT. He then moved to the main roster and held the Intercontinental Championship thrice. Sami Zayn worked for multiple wrestling companies and individual circuits. Some of them include Pro Wrestling Guerilla (PWG), Ring of Honor (ROH), International Wrestling Syndicate (IWS), Evolve, TNA, Xplosion Nacional de Lucha (XNL), Independent Wrestling Federation (IWF), Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Hart Legacy Wrestling (HLW), Wrestling Xtreme Wrestling (WXW) in Germany, Dragon Gate and DDT Pro-Wrestling in Japan. However, his recent love-hate relationship with the Bloodline had made him one of the top wrestling gimmicks in recent times and he had also won the best gimmick award from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Faction of the year, Best storyline of the year in 2022.
