Jey Uso chose to stay with his brother, which led to a Bloodline Civil War at Money in the Bank 2023, where Jey Became the first man to pin Roman reigns since 2019.

Jey Uso faced Roman Reigns at Summerslam 2023, where the Bloodline Storyline took a whole new turn by shocking 55k+ fans when Jimmy turned on his brother Jey. Jey Uso then attacked every member of Bloodline including his brother Jimmy on August 11, 2023 episode of Smackdown, and he said: “I'm out The Bloodline, I'm out of SmackDown, I'm out of WWE!”. Jey Uso then made his surprising return at 2023 Payback when Cody Rhodes announced that Jey was going to be the newest member of Monday Night Raw.
