Shinsuke Nakamura is a professional wrestler from Japan performing in the SmackDown brand of WWE. As of January 2025, Nakamura holds the WWE United States Championship, his third reign with the title in the promotion. Before signing with WWE, he performed in the New Japan Pro-Wrestling where he is a 12-time title winner. The youngest IWGP Heavyweight Champion started his WWE career in 2016, performing in the NXT brand for more than a year.

Nakamura won the NXT Championship twice and was named the Male Competitor of the Year and Overall Competitor of the Year before making his main roster debut in April 2017. As of January 2025, he has won three United States Championships, two WWE Intercontinental Championships, a WWE SmackDown Tag Team title, and the 2018 Royal Rumble.

Royal Rumble 2018

Shinsuke Nakamura was the 14th participant in his first Royal Rumble appearance in 2018. He ended up winning his debut Royal Rumble match.
