Ata Johnson is the mother of expert wrestler turned famous actor, Dwayne Johnson also known as The Rock. Ata Johnson was brought into the world on October 25, 1948, in Hawaii, United States. Ata Johnson was presented to wrestling from the get-go in her life as she was naturally introduced to a family of wrestlers. She is the daughter of Peter Maivia, a Samoan expert wrestler and promoter of the 'National Wrestling Alliance' in Hawaii, and her mother is Ofelia "Lia" Maivia, who was a renowned lady promoter of wrestling. The Rock's mother has two siblings, Toa Maivia and Peter Maivia Jr. Not much is been aware of Toa Maivia. Peter Maivia Jr. was too into wrestling and he was the tag team partner of Ata's husband Rocky Johnson.


Professional Career


In 1996, Ata first showed up in one of the episodes of 'WWE Raw.' In 2000, she was seen in 'WrestleMania 2000'.
