The Warrior and WWE had been bitter enemies for a long while, and Vince McMahon had produced a DVD to demonize Warrior, titled "The Self Destruction of The Ultimate Warrior". The two parties somehow came to an agreement, and Warrior was finally inducted by Linda McMahon, on the night before WrestleMania 30.
Warrior came down to the ring on the Raw after 'Mania and gave a heartfelt speech, which has now become infamous for being the final public appearance of The Warrior. The promo felt as if Warrior knew that something was coming up.
