Pursuing his Olympic dream, Jamie competed in the Athens Olympics and went on to become famous for scoring an extra time goal in the final, which resulted in Australia winning the gold medal and him being adjudged the best player in the world. In 2005, he earned a gold medal at the Champions Trophy competition and topped it with a silver in the World Cup. He also won a gold medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
