William Jason Reso, born on November 30, 1973, is a Canadian professional wrestler and actor presently affiliated with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), performing under the ring name Christian Cage. Currently holding the AEW TNT Championship for the second time, Reso also serves as the leader of The Patriarchy faction. Renowned for his contributions to WWF/E, where he performed as Christian, and his tenure in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), Reso made his debut in 1995.

In the early stages of his career, Reso competed in Canadian independent promotions, engaging in singles and tag team competitions alongside his close friend Edge. His journey with the then-World Wrestling Federation (WWF, later WWE) began in 1998, leading to an impactful debut where he secured the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship.

Collaborating with Edge as a tag team, known for their involvement in Tables, Ladders, and Chairs matches, they claimed the World Tag Team Championship seven times, significantly influencing tag team wrestling during the Attitude Era. Post their separation in 2001, Christian pursued success in WWE's singles division, earning titles such as the European, Hardcore, and Intercontinental Championships.

After departing WWE in 2005, Reso, under the ring name Christian Cage, joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), clinching the NWA World Heavyweight Championship twice. His return to WWE in 2009 resulted in winning the ECW Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship twice each before retiring in 2014 due to concussion issues. As the 23rd Triple Crown Champion and 11th Grand Slam Champion in WWE history, Reso achieved remarkable accolades.

In March 2021, Christian Cage made a triumphant return to AEW, resuming his in-ring career. Notable victories followed, including the Impact World Championship on AEW Rampage in 2021 and the AEW TNT Championship in 2023. With a total of 25 championships across WWE, AEW, and TNA, including seven world championships and nine tag team titles, Christian Cage has left an indelible mark on professional wrestling, headlining numerous pay-per-view events and establishing himself as one of WWE's most prolific performers.
