#10 Longevity

Entering his 21st NBA season, LeBron is still performing at an incredibly high level. Despite the minutes restrictions to prevent injuries and enable LeBron to play longer into the season, he has been averaging 25.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 5.4 assists on 56.9% shooting over the first 9 games of the season.

LeBron at the age of 38 is still capable of being considered a top 10 player in the league, compared to that, Michael Jordan was playing his first year with the Washington Wizards when he was 38. Despite averaging a decent stat line of 22.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists on 41.6% shooting over 60 games, Jordan was no longer looking the same.

When it comes down to sustained greatness on the basketball court, LeBron is the winner by a wide margin. From entering the league at the tender age of 18, being dubbed as the “Chosen One”, having the highest expectations put on him, and still being able to deliver, LeBron has cemented himself to be one of the greatest, if not the greatest.
