Another highlight came in the form of Daryl Macon who scored a team-high 16 points - which included five 3-pointers on 5-8 shooting from deep.

Despite Hartenstein's valiant 20-point and 13-rebounds effort for the Rockets, the Mavericks led for most of the game and by as much as 35 at one point in time.

The Lakers almost bounced back from a 22-point deficit early in the second quarter. But eventually - with LeBron James and AD at courtside - all the purple-n-gold could salvage was a morale boost out of their late run as they fell short by 6 points.

With both the starters and reserves stepping up to contribute for the Lakers, Joe Young (starter) and Devontae Cacok (reserve) each scored a team-high 17 points as four Clippers notched double-figure scoring efforts on the night.

The Clippers scoring was led by 2019 first round pick Mfiondu Kabengele who finished with a sturdy staline of 21 points and 10 rebounds. The Lakers are now 0-2 in the Las Vegas Summer League.
