Paul George broke numerous records during Game 5 of the series against the Phoenix Suns.

One of the better records that he achieved on the night was becoming the first player in the history of the NBA Playoffs to score at least 40 points, 13 rebounds and six assists on 75/50/100 shooting splits.

The LA Clippers were dealt yet another blow when Ivica Zubac was ruled out during the 2021 NBA Playoffs, joining Kawhi Leonard and Serge Ibaka on the list of sidelined players.

Many ruled out the fact that the LA Clippers had a chance to win that match and save their season. However, Paul George had other ideas and played his best playoff-career game, scoring a postseason career-high 41 points.

George barely put a foot wrong, shooting 15-of-20 from the floor, including three three-pointers, while also converting all eight of his free-throw attempts. He also recorded three steals on the night, helping his team cut the series deficit to 3-2, winning the tie 116-102.
