The NBA signed an eight-year apparel deal with Nike back in 2015, and the contract came into effect ahead of the 2017-18 season. Nike's sponsorship deal marked the end of Adidas' 11-year association with the NBA, and the American sportswear giant immediately set out to shake up the state of jerseys.
While there were relatively few changes under Adidas' sponsorship, Nike has made drastic alterations to a number of home and road jerseys, and teams around the league have also sported a variety of limited edition uniforms that have focused on the history of each franchise. The Special Edition uniforms undergo design changes on a yearly basis, and Nike has produced a number of striking designs for the current season. #5 Milwaukee Bucks - Statement Edition
The Milwaukee Bucks' color scheme is among the worst in the NBA, and their jerseys are usually among the blandest designs. However, following two years of missteps by Nike, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the rest of the Milwaukee roster has an excellent jersey in the latest version of the 'Fear the Deer' uniform.
The jersey is part of Nike's 'Statement Edition' range, and the Bucks will sport the design in 16 games this season. While not the most complex design, Nike nailed it with the striping across the chest, while the additional blue line also brings much needed extra color to the uniform. The Denver Nuggets have yet to wear their latest City Edition jersey, although there is no doubting its status as one of the NBA's most striking designs. The uniform brings back the design of the famous 'Rainbow Skyline' jersey that the Nuggets wore throughout the 80s and early 90s.

While the design is relatively simple, the Los Angeles wordmark stands out and helps to capture the overall feel of LA's famous street culture.
While most teams are wearing increasingly complicated designs and color schemes, the Clippers' black and white design is a pleasant change, and the jersey could become an instant classic if the Clippers can live up to expectations and win the 2020 NBA title. The Clippers first donned the design during a thrilling win over the Los Angeles Clippers, and they will wear the uniform sixteen more times this season.
#2 Utah Jazz - Classic Edition
The Utah Jazz's uniform designs have improved over the past few years, although none come close to their latest 'Classic Edition' uniform. The Chicago Bulls have had some of the best jerseys in NBA history, although the 2018-19's much anticipated 'City Edition' uniform drew a mixed reception from the Bulls fanbase. Nevertheless, the Bulls have quickly moved away from the four stars theme that split fans, and Chicago's 2019-20 'Statement Edition' uniform is the best design to emerge this season.
The jersey is a throwback to the organization's iconic pinstripe uniforms from the 90s, and it even overshadows Chicago's always excellent red uniform. The Bulls debuted the reimagined pinstripe design uniform during a win over the New York Knicks earlier this month, although they will wear the uniform on just four more occasions.
