One of the more underrated additions of the Chicago Bulls' impressive offseason was the addition of former Los Angeles Lakers guard Alex Caruso. It's no secret that the Chicago front office had a clear vision this summer. They needed to add depth and toughness on the defensive side of the ball. With injuries to both Patrick Williams and Coby White, Caruso could be a player who sees his minutes increase in the Bulls rotation. Caruso is known as an intelligent player who can make life difficult for opposing players with his defensive ability. There's also the potential for Caruso to play off the ball, giving him some versatility in the Chicago backcourt.

One of the biggest names acquired by the Chicago Bulls this offseason, DeMar DeRozan should be a welcome addition to the roster with his ability to put up big numbers on the offensive side of the ball. DeRozan was asked to carry the load offensively during his time with the San Antonio Spurs. With the injury to Williams, the Bulls could look to have DeRozan potentially be an offensive focal point in specific lineup rotations.
