Chris Paul reached another career milestone in the Phoenix Suns' 112-100 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night. He is now ranked third on the NBA's all-time assists leaderboard behind the legendary John Stockton and Jason Kidd.

#5 Phoenix Suns vs New Orleans Pelicans - 19 assists
Chris Paul has had some of his highest assists games against the Pelicans for some reason. On Tuesday night, he recorded 18 assists against the Pelicans in a 20-point comeback victory.
Earlier in the year, February 19 to be precise, Chris Paul had another incredible outing against the Pelicans, registering 19 assists in 31 minutes. In the 132-114 victory, CP3 had half of the team's total assists of the game. Although it is one of the five games where Paul registered 19 assists, it is the most recent.
#4 New Orleans Hornets vs Cleveland Cavaliers - 20 assists
On March 26, 2008, the Cleveland Cavaliers hosted the then New Orleans Hornets in a regular-season game. In what was a low-scoring contest, the Hornets clinched a narrow victory (100-99), thanks to the brilliance of Chris Paul.
Of the 27 assists the Hornets had in that fixture, Chris Paul was responsible for 27. On a night where his shooting was not impressive, going 5 of 17 from the field, his ability to create for his teammates made the difference in the fixture.

#3 New Orleans Hornets vs Milwaukee Bucks - 20 assists
In year four of Chris Paul's six-year run with the Hornets, they hosted the Milwaukee Bucks in what ended in another narrow victory. The Hornets had a comfortable lead throughout the first three quarters, but an inspired run by the Bucks in the fourth quarter almost cost them the game.
It was a ridiculously low-scoring game for Chris Paul, in fact, the lowest in the 2008-09 season. He ended the game with nine points, but his assists tally was outstanding.
The Hornets had a total of 26 assists in the game, and Chris Paul had 20. The next best provider on the team in that matchup was James Posey, who ended the game with two assists. At the end of that season, he led the league in assists and steals, averaging 11 assists and 2.8 steals.
#2 LA Clippers vs New Orleans Pelicans - 20 assists
In Chris Paul's final season with the LA Clippers, he came close to averaging a double-double in points and assists, but fell short with 0.8 assists per game. In 22 double-doubles (points and assists) he registered that season, his 20-point 20-assist game against the Pelicans might have been the most fulfilling.
It was a blowout 133-105 win for the Clippers, and Paul was at the center of proceedings. He was by far the best provider and the second-best scorer on the team behind Jamal Crawford, who had 22 points coming off the bench.

Chris Paul had his highest assists in a game when the Hornets visited Staples Center on November 6, 2007, to take on the Lakers. The game ended in a 118-104 victory for the Hornets, thanks to Paul's genius.
It was the fourth game of the 2007-08 season, and Chris Paul registered his third double-double, leading the Hornets to a fourth victory of the season. The Hornets ended the game with a total of 39 assists, and Paul was responsible for 21 of them. In addition to that were 19 points, three rebounds, and three steals.
