Stephen Curry's first 60-point game came against the Portland Trail Blazers. Despite being renowned for making a high number of three-pointers in his games where he tallies at least 50 points, Stephen Curry was aggressive against the Blazers and attacked the paint consistently.

Of course, he still made eight three-point shots, but attacking the paint and drawing fouls were a key part of his 62-point effort in that game. That marked the first time Curry scored 60 points in an NBA game.

That performance proved that Stephen Curry could perform at the highest level while facing one of the league's best point guards in Damian Lillard.

The player also had five rebounds and four assists in that game as the Warriors grabbed their best win of the year and improved to 3-3 in the 2020-21 NBA season.
