#3 Moses Malone - 922

Moses Malone's name should be mentioned a lot more than it usually is during NBA debates. A great center who could be dominant regardless of the cast around him, Malone won three regular-season MVPs, including two consecutive awards with two different teams (he is the only one to do so).

He was also a unique rebounder, as he had 922 games in his NBA career with double-digit rebounds. Malone averaged 12.2 rebounds per game in his NBA career and led the league six times in rebounds per game, the third-most in NBA history.

Malone is also the all-time leader in offensive rebounds (first tracked in the 1973-74 season) and ranks fifth in total rebounds in NBA history (third if we count his ABA stats).

#2 Bill Russell - 932

Bill Russell was certainly one of the best rebounders ever during his playing days. The 11-time NBA champion with the Boston Celtics is often regarded as one of the best defenders in league history, while his rebounding stats prove that he was too dominant on the glasses.

Russell grabbed 21,620 rebounds in his career and had 10 or more in a single game 932 times (out of 963 career games in 13 seasons).

Russell led the league in rebounds per game five times, and his career average (22.5) is the second-highest in NBA history.

The five-time MVP had 10 seasons averaging 20 or more rebounds per game, which is tied for the all-time record.

#1 Wilt Chamberlain - 1,033

Any time we're discussing NBA records, especially regarding scoring and rebounding, Wilt Chamberlain's name will make an appearance. In terms of scoring, Chamberlain's 100-point game and an entire season averaging over 50 points are easily known by some diehard NBA fans.

Regarding rebounds, Chamberlain is the NBA's all-time leader with 23,924 rebounds throughout his career. He also has the highest career average of rebounds per game with 22.9.

He led the league in rebounding a record 11 times, including four in his first four seasons in the NBA. Chamberlain also holds the record for most rebounds in a single game with 55 on November 24th, 1960.

Chamberlain is tied with Bill Russell for most seasons with an average of 20 rebounds per game or more. In terms of rebounds per game in a single season, the legend has six of the seventh-highest rebounding seasons in league history, with 27.2 in the 1960-61 season being the highest in league history.

To sum it all up, Chamberlain had 1,033 games with at least 10 rebounds in 1,045 regular-season appearances.
