#3 Zach LaVine

Zach LaVine has trained with Drew Hanlen for a while and has gradually developed into an NBA All-Star caliber player. He has seen improvements over time and opted to workout with the skills coach during the 2021 offseason.

All Drew Hanlen's trainees are decent three-point shooters, and LaVine is no different. Despite his explosiveness and ability to ferociously attack the rim, the combo guard occasionally settles for a 3-pointer and hits the mark.

Although LaVine has been a top talent, his NBA career took off in the 2020-21 season due to an early start in the Chicago Bulls' offseason. The Bulls were not invited to the Orlando bubble, and the 2-time dunk contest champion took to the gym.

LaVine benefited greatly from the extra work as he got his first All-Star nod and will be hopeful for a re-run in the 2021-22 NBA season.

#4 Bradley Beal

Bradley Beal is one of Drew Hanlen's long-time clients, and their partnership has continued in the 2021 NBA offseason. Although Beal came into the league as a top shooter, he has continued to work on adding layers to his game to make him more effective offensively.

Beal's sweet stroke from range is still as lethal as ever, but he has had to improve his handling and ability to drive to the bucket. It will be exciting to see what improvements the Washington Wizards shooting guard has made as it looks like he has mastered perhaps all he needs to be an elite player in the NBA.

With training camps due to open on the 28th of September, Beal's personal training with Drew Hanlen is coming to an end, at least for the offseason. The 27-year-old has, however, taken advantage of the time with Drew. He also participated in the pickup game that featured other NBA superstars.

#5 RJ Barrett

RJ Barrett had a monster season playing alongside Julius Randle for the New York Knicks. He had a breakout season after intense offseason training that tremendously improved his shooting.

Barrett went from a 32% shooter from beyond the arc in his rookie year to shooting over 40% in the 2020-21 NBA season. He was a huge contributor for the Knicks and their return to playoff basketball.

Drew Hanlen has worked with Barrett since he turned 15, gradually improving the Canadian's game year after year. The 21-year-old will undoubtedly return for the 2021-22 NBA season with other skills in his offensive arsenal.
