#3 PJ Tucker

It appears that James Harden wasn't the only player to be unsettled in Houston, after PJ Tucker revealed he felt unwanted by the franchise during the offseason. Last week, after Harden's move, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported that the Miami Heat were among the favorites to acquire PJ Tucker to battle the Nets and Bucks' superior offenses.

PJ Tucker is an elite two-way player whose veteran experience and tenacious defending has been a large part of the Houston Rockets' success in recent years. This year, the forward is averaging 5.5 points and 4.8 rebounds.

Whether or not Tucker would be happy to be a rotation player is a considerable hurdle in any potential trade between the two sides. However, the 35-year-old may see the Heat as title challengers compared to the weaker Rockets roster. And given his comments in December, it seems as though he'd be ready for a move.

#4 Kyle Lowry

The Toronto Raptors have improved of late. After the opening 10 games, the former champions were 2-8 but have since won their last three to regain some form of credibility in the East. Their leader, Kyle Lowry, has averaged 19 points and 7 assists.

However, he has been linked with a move away from the franchise given Toronto's torrid start to the season.

Having put immense faith in the futures of Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam, the Raptors could look to trade Lowry in a deal that would provide them with significant pieces to pair with their young stars.

A prospective team like Miami would have to put together a considerable package for the Raptors to consider - such is the importance that Lowry holds in Toronto.

Lowry would bring the veteran leadership that the Heat lacked at times on the floor during their 2020 Finals series, in addition to consistent scoring.

Whether or not the Miami Heat would be willing to trade any of their younger prospects for Lowry pushes this trade into the possible, rather than probable, category.

However, it would improve the franchise's chances in the playoffs if they were to go through with it.

#5 Jerami Grant

A player who is doing everything in his power to earn a trade is Jerami Grant of the Detroit Pistons. Moving to small forward to facilitate Blake Griffin, Grant is averaging 24.9 points and 6 rebounds.

Although he would share the position with Butler, the Miami Heat would acquire an elite rotation partnership by bringing in Grant. Widely tipped as the Most Improved Player in the league, the 26-year-old would provide the Heat's frontcourt with some much-needed scoring.
